Some who arrive early may want to do their<br \/>\nown thing and go on a longer trip.<\/p>\n<p>Booked meals are from 6.30 to 7.30 in the hall followed by an open session<br \/>\nfor the key note speaker at 7.30 onwards ( as soon as food stuff cleared<br \/>\naway)<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Saturday<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Full day paddle and half day paddle plus 4\u00a0 morning training sessions &#8211;<br \/>\nlunch then 4 afternoon sessions .\u00a0 Evening format same as Friday night with<br \/>\na key note speaker.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sunday<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Same format as Sunday. Evening format same as Friday night with a key note<br \/>\nspeaker.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Monday <\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Half day and full day paddle available.<\/p>\n<p>Morning training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Symposium finishes noon Monday.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Training Sessions<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>As a taster the training sessions will be covering the following and<br \/>\nhopefully more once the contributors are up and assess the weather and<br \/>\nconditions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tidal Planning theory and practical on the water.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the weather<\/li>\n<li>Teaching and learning process for coaches and students &#8211; learning how to<br \/>\nmake yourself better. Theory and practical<\/li>\n<li>Forward paddling skills, Turning skills<\/li>\n<li>Possible surf training<\/li>\n<li>Rolling clinic at local pool (numbers max 12) may be able to do open water<br \/>\nrolling clinic for the adventurous.<\/li>\n<li>Incident management, towing rescues etc<\/li>\n<li>4* leader training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the summer symposium now only a few days away, here is a draft itinerary for the weekends events.
