Trip updates

The Tuesday trips programme 2011 is completed for this year due to the lack of daylight hours. Please keep checking the web pages or e-mails, text messages for any weekend trips or training sessions in windier, rougher conditions. Any folk wishing to attend these sessions need to check with the coaches on what skill levels are required for particular events on offer.

Tuesday Trip 14th June

Trip details are the following:

Venue: Brae 7pm
Trip Leader: Angus

Leaving Brae and heading to either Voe or Muckle Roe Marina, Weather depending. Open to confident paddlers in windy force 4-5 conditions. Paddle will be in sheltered waters, will bea down wind paddle however there will also be a strong breeze. May change due to weather conditions.

Club Trip Sunday 12th June

Venue: Nibon

Trip Leader: Ian            Contact :01595880769

Paddle leaving from Nibon at 2pm Sunday 12th June, If you wish to come along then please let Ian know before 6pm Saturday evening, to allow for trailer to be organised. Even if you have your own equipment still contact Ian so he has numbers and he can advise you if details are changed.

Club trip Tues 7th June

Venue:   Gulberwick   7PM

E:     Easy trip    

Leaving from Gulberwick beach, heading south around coastline and coming out at Quarff. Approx 5 – 6 km. This trip is open to all 1 star qualified beginners as well as experienced paddlers. If you would like to come on this paddle contact Craig 07795674053 or 01950477644, email: craig@cragden.plus.com

Charge of £2 applies to this trip for use of trailer.  Limited boats so call early to avoid disappointment.
