Club pool session 18/10/18 – restricted numbers

We have a very limited number of kayaks available for tonight’s pool session so we’re going to be club members only.

If you have your own kayak you’re more than welcome to bring it along. Please note it should be reasonably clean

Thursday Pool session

We had a good start to our pool sessions with 12 club members, 5 non-club members and 4 coaches making good use of the pool. Next session is this Thursday, 26 October.

Last pool session before beginners training – Monday 11 April 2016

Monday 11 April is our last pool session for existing club members before the beginners training start. Final chance to get those rolls and braces tuned up for the season in a nice warm environment!

And don’t forget that club membership is now due, forms back to Craig please.

Beginners sessions – final pool session and first outdoors session

Just a reminder that this Monday sees our final session indoors and we’re moving outdoors to Bridge End on 14 May!

Good start to the pool sessions

Thursday night saw thirteen paddlers in the pool, a great start to this run of five sessions before the beginners training. Nice to see a full pool! Thanks go to Angus for bringing the boats.

If you fancy giving paddling a try, you can now turn up and have a free session. There will be a committee member or delegated individual at the entrance to the pool changing area.

Committee Meeting Islesburgh 7pm Friday 28th Feb

First committee meeting for 2014. If you’re interested in shaping what’s going to happen throughout this year, let one of the committee know and turn up to discuss.

…Canoe polo…

play in the pool, work on paddling skills and (probably) have the most fun you can experience in a public swimming pool! Don’t need to be an expert paddler, will be working on building skills and enjoy ourselves. Great way to get/ stay fit too.

Get in contact with Jonathan SwaleJim Tait or myself if you’re interested.

Hopefully starting up in the New Year if we can sort pool bookings and get the numbers of paddlers to make it viable.
